Prologue:
Though some will find this account unbearable, I wish for you to know it. It is better to accept what happened in its entirety, rather than to cheat yourself on what actually happened.
Peanut reviewed her life, something she hadnt done before. The tragedy of herself brought her to tears. A dark figure stood beside her, and rested an arm on her shoulder. She looked directly into the resonating light reflecting off the surface of the figures reassuring eyes. 'If you could do it again, would you live it the same way?' ; the figure asked, the timbre of joy strengthening his otherwise stuttering tone.

The lesson continued until the bell rang, when Ms Tai told them where their grade area was, in an undercover area a short walk from the classroom. As soon as they heard, Peanut and Stencil grabbed their lunches and headed off toward the area. They sat down with Sly, Spike and Marny.
So how do you like our new teacher? Peanut asked, trying to spark up a conversation. Marny spoke first, Shes really nice. Sly, Spike and Stencil all nodded. Do you wanna go play game on the oval? Spike suggested, holding a football, Peanut and Sly nodded and followed Spike onto the Oval, Stenc
Chapter 3: Resilience
Mid-Term- Friday
It was now the last day of term for Mapletons first graders, and none the worse for that. The sun glittered brilliantly through the sky emanating a comforting glow that fell upon Peanut like a waterfall of warmth. The pathway to school remained the same, each step bringing about a nostalgic glow as Peanut remembered the first time she traversed the path, despite it only being half a year ago.
The cement was rough as it always was, and unerring in its pathway, Peanut brushed back her tuft of hair, over and over, licking her hand as she went, occasionally stopping to brush her tail with her hands,

Wednesday:
Piss off, idiot.
Those were the words Peanut heard over a year ago that made her heart drop. And here they were again, spoken by the same culprit, Shako.
Peanut almost started crying, she went to play a game on the oval with Shako, Sly and Spike just to be rejected. At such a young age it was not the best phrase to hear. (Also leaving the question of how Shako learnt it) Peanut once again ran back to her group of friends, and decided not to say anything, this was the last straw, she didnt want to have to put up with Shakos taunts anymore, she knew
Chapter 5: A Little Nightmare Music
Outside the classroom, merely down the road resided a cottage. The surrounding foliage shaded it completely, and even made it hard to detect from the end of the front path. The short walls were red brick, the roof was slate and a few small windows were positioned on each side. However interesting the outside of this cottage may have been, the inside contained a much more deep personality, and owner.
The main room was a sight to behold, displaying classic images reminiscent of the romantic era. A carpet of velvet red lay on the floor, sleek and pristine, and the walnut shelves were thickly stacked with fin
Chapter 6: Tears
Dark as night stood the piano, in the centre of the square, and the novices made their way one by one to the centre stage. Familiar tunes were heard and the green fox continued his ushering and hosting to the eager crowd. Marny stood.
He wasn't particularly flustered about this whole event, not in it to win, just to experience performance. Sweat covered his brow as he sat on the stool and began to play. With a sigh of relief it was all over. He sat back down with the group of novices who were now seated in the crowd and looked forward; it was the second division's turn to play.
There were a considerably less amount of comp
Chapter 7: A Face Full Of Tears
Marny awoke violently, beads of sweat rolling down his grey, nubile forehead. Combing through his hair with his little digits he sat up and took a few deep breaths. He had forgotten all about the fact he won the Novice competition at all; the only thought that plagued his mind was of Wacky, and of the silhouette. He stepped out from his bed and went to the bathroom to brush his teeth. Soon enough his pearly whites were as shiny as a pearl, and he was already neglecting the bad thoughts of Wacky.
Meanwhile Peanut was eating her breakfast, some toast and jam with a glass of milk. After she finished the placed h
Chapter 8: A Restless Night
The black of unconsciousness seemed undisturbed and timeless for Peanut as she turned in her sleep whilst the gale blew harder against her tightly locked window. In a subconscious attempt to keep warm Peanut tucked her hands between her knees and crawled into a ball, pulling the covers over herself tighter. However, the covers were to no avail, Peanut could feel the cold brushing over her young head, sending her into a frenzy of chattering.
Eventually the brash of the cold passed and a weird warm sensation crawled up the side of Peanut's leg. Smiling, she unfolded as the warm sensation covered her entire lower bo
Chapter 9: The Day of Pyjamas
It was nine o'clock before Marny woke up; he'd never slept so long in his life. Throwing the blanket off himself and onto the carpet he sat up and gave a huge yawn. As if he had been recharged, his eyes opened and a flash of energy passed through his body, he ran over to his bedroom door and pulled the covers off Peanut, who lay in the fetal position with her hands between her legs and her fluffy pink tail wrapped around herself. 'Wake up Peanut!' Marny called joyfully, playfully shaking the bed. He was soon greeted by a reassuring reply. 'Okay, okay, I'm up!'
Peanut rubbed her eyes and sat up, the same sensati

Week 2
Tuesday:
A larger-than-life smile was spread over Peanut's eight year old face. She hadn't won the lottery or saved a life; she was finally top of the Math Ladder. Vroli was once again teaching Peanut, Kitty, Matty, Syco, Culu and Stencil in Class 3A and Marny and Kay were once again put into Tai's class, 3B, along with Corny and some other newcomers they'd never seen before. Luckily, Shako, Sly and Spike were still in a separate class, a blessing for them all.
The first week back saw Vroli introducing a new competition style of learning mathematics, involving a quick reaction time and lots
